We can’t help but notice how popular chalkboard has been lately. From chalkboard invitations to chalkboard hang tags, it’s taking over all of our news feeds. Today’s DIY is a simple project involving terracotta pots and a little chalkboard paint.
Materials:
• Terracotta Pots
• Chalkboard Paint
• Brush

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. It’s been over 100 degrees here in so. cal so I’ve been hiding out indoors working on some new projects. This is actually a double project – chalkboard table numbers & satin ribbon flowers. Put them together and you get a frilly vintage inspired table number project.

Will Martha and her minions ever cease to amaze?
This has been around the web for a while, but I just recently tried it out– homemade chalkboard paint.
And it works.
Follow Martha’s recipe and get ready to unleash your creativity. This time around I tried out different stripes, (see below).
Just tape off the area you’d like a go to town. Next time I’m going to try shapes and watering down the paint for a watercolor effect.
