Q: What trend setting things do you see happening in 2012?
A: I love when couples really take the time to infuse their personalities into their invitations along with exploring alternative printing techniques and ways to put their entire suite together. It’s so fun to see an invitation become more than just a piece of paper.

Q: What is your favorite invitation you’ve designed for SOP?

A: The Plantation Floral Wedding Invitation is my absolute favorite. There is something so classic and elegant about it. I’m also just a fan of anything black and white with a little bit of a surprise of color.

Q: What do you hope to bring to our readers?

A: All sorts of things! I hope the readers will all feel inspired every single time they reach the end of a post.

Q: What is your current obsession?
A: Definitely sweaters. The weather has been so chilly lately. I’m obsessed with sweaters and scarves and all of the coats at Zara. I want all of them.

Q: What three things do you have with you on a daily basis?
A: My iPhone of course, a black pen, and my glasses (I’m blind without them).

Q: What are on the top shelves of your inspiration library right now?
A:  I look to so many blogs and books for inspiration. Typeverything is a favorite along with Graphic Exchange.

Q: What is one piece of advice you would offer to a young designer/artist?
A: I think Jessica Hische has given the best piece of advice and I will gladly pass it along, “The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life.”

Q: What is the most glamorous thing you own?
A: My red lipstick. I instantly feel like the movie star I always knew I was when I put it on.

Q: What do you love about wedding invitations, designing wedding invitations?
A: The time spent conceiving an idea, finding your look and feel then seeing 100 or more of what you created all put together and ready to send to everyone you love.
