Friday Freebie: Flags for Hot Cocoa
Alright, well this week we have a little flag template, for wooden spoons, stir-sticks, anything you would use with hot cocoa. Or make hot chocolate on a stick, add this puppy to the top, and you’re good to go. Click here to download!
Bonus: Here is a recipe I snagged from cdkitchen.com for a party sized batch of hot cocoa.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup hot water
1 gallon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
In large saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Add hot water slowly, mixing well. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil and stir 2 minutes. Add milk; heat to serving temperature, stirring occasionally. DO NOT boil.
Remove from heat; add vanilla, cinnamon, and whip with a whisk. Serve hot, with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired. This recipe can be doubled and kept in crockpot for easier serving to large groups.
Don’t forget to deck out your hot-chocolate with marshmellows, candies, mint leaves, whipped cream and sprinkles, or whatever gets you going.
Have a great weekend!!
