Today we have a really cute DIY for you. It’s the perfect project to get you ready for Valentine’s Day. We created heart shaped stencils and painted a bright red heart on our Cotton Drawstring Bags.

You will need:
• scissors
• a pencil or sharpie
• paper, preferably cardstock
• acrylic paint
• and our bags!

Step 1:
Fold your cardstock paper in half, our paper was about 6 x 5 inches. Then, draw your shape and cut it out.

Step 2:
Add some extra pieces of cardstock inside your bag so the paint won’t seep through to the other side.

Step 3:
Place your stencil onto your bag. You can tape it down if you like, but the bag is small enough you should be able to hold it down.

Step 4:
Paint away! Use a sponge type of brush and dab the paint on. That’s it!!! You’re done!!!
