DIY: Party Popcorn
I found this recipe and super easy DIY for party popcorn a couple months and have been dying to try it. It’s one of the easiest snacks you can whip up for any occasion and can also work as party favors for your guests! Enjoy!
First, you will need the following ingredients:
1. popcorn-microwave or homemade, it’ your choice.
I used Orville Redenbacher’s. It’s my go to when making this on the fly.
2. Sprinkles!
3. White chocolate melts
Next, pop your popcorn and place it on a cookie sheet or baking pan. You can line your cookie sheet with wax paper to minimize the clean up. Then melt your white chocolate melts according to the instructions on the bag, you can use colored chocolate as well. I bought mine from Joann’s. They tend to melt better than grocery store chocolate chips. Once your chocolate is melted pour onto your popcorn and gently mix either with your hands or spatula.
This is the best part, add the sprinkles! You’ll want to add these before the chocolate hardens. Once you have added all of your sprinkles, give the popcorn another mix!
That’s it! Now you can sit back, enjoy or pack away in some cute favor boxes.
