I love recycling things around the house to use as gift wrap. There is no need to go out to buy anything fancy. All I had to do here is wrap around yarn and tie it off in a knot. The easiest thing I’ve done all week.

Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend. I’ve always wanted to try painting on glass so I thought I’d give it a try this weekend. I didn’t have any glass paint handy but I did have standard acrylic and some matte medium.
I think these turned out pretty nice. Since I didn’t use actual glass paint I do not plan to wash these. Instead I’m going to use them during the holidays as candy containers. I think they will be adorable filled with candy canes for the...

People always ask me how I tie a bow around our favor boxes. Well it’s actually really easy once you get the hang of it. With the holidays right around the corner I thought this would be the perfect tutorial.
The key to this bow is the ribbon on the bottom of your box is flat. This way there are no awkward lumps or bumps to deal with – you’re gift box will always sit flat at the bottom. To view the video on how I tie this style bow check out the link below.
