Chalkboard Hang Tags as Place Cards

We love finding new ways to reinvent something and use what we already have, so today we put together a DIY using some chalkboard paint (a classic fave) and our flag hang tags. These tags along with chalkboard paint make the cutest place cards.

You will need:
• chalkboard paint + paint brush (I bought mine at Home Depot)
flag hang tags
• chalk
twine or cording
• coke bottles

Start by painting all of your tags with a coat of the chalkboard paint. Once the paint dries, punch holes into each tag.

Add your guest’s initials to each tag. If you find a piece of chalk small enough, you can add their full name or draw some cute hearts + arrows. Next, cut some twine long enough to tie the tags to the bottles.

Finally, tie the tags to your coke bottles and you’re done! This DIY is so easy and the end result is so cute. You can use this same idea for signage for your candy or dessert table.
