October 13th • 1 - 4 pm

Skill level: Beginner

Learn the art of Modern Calligraphy with Angi of Angelique, Ink in a three hour workshop, where you'll explore and practice the fundamental tools and techniques of modern pointed pen calligraphy. We'll cover everything from basic pen strokes to constructing and connecting letters, styling and composition, so you can walk away with everything you need for developing your skill and style. Each student will receive a complete take-home calligraphy supply set, curated by Angi which includes her instructional guide book with alphabet exemplars and styling tips.

This is a really fun, no-pressure workshop for anyone interested in learning a new skill, honing or expanding their style, picking up a fun hobby, or artist looking to try a new technique/medium.

Class size max 20 (if there is a waiting list, we may be able to consider opening a few extra seats to accommodate).

A note about parking: Weekends can be busy in old town so please allow for time to find parking. Street parking is available, but usually limited to 90 minutes. There are several free public parking lots nearby with 3 hour and 8 hour parking options. Keep an eye on the signs, we don't want you to get a ticket!
