Last, but certainly not least we introduce to you our beloved office companion, Oliver.
Q: What trend setting things do you see happening in 2012?
A: I hope to see more couples using pets in their weddings. Sometimes a loyal pet makes a great ring bearer. Just sayin’…
Q: What is your favorite invitation you’ve designed for SOP?
A: I’m not the most computer savvy daschund around so I leave the designing to the SOP designers, but my favorite wedding invitation has to be the one pictured below, Newspaper Vintage Type. Katherine’s handy work.
Q: What do you hope to bring to our readers?
A: My advice! I’ll be answering any and all questions sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Band or DJ? Communal or round tables for the reception? Should my bridesmaids match?!? Worry not, I’ll be answering all of your troubling questions.
Q: What is your current obsession?
A: The new season of Top Chef: Texas.
Q: What three things do you have with you on a daily basis?
A: My charming attitude, my collar and my best-friend, Ruthie. She looks like Snoopy.
Q: What are on the top shelves of your inspiration library right now?
A: I don’t have shelves, my dachshund arms won’t permit a far reach. :/ I look to the SOP designers for inspiration.
Q: What is one piece of advice you would offer to a young designer/artist?
A: Always remember to take a break from your work. Walk away from it, walk toward the door, grab my leash and take me for a walk.
Q: What is the most glamorous thing you own?
A: This bowtie.
Q: What do you love about wedding invitations, designing wedding invitations?
A: The love story!
