Smitten Junior Designer We are a small, creative team looking for a full-time designer that loves stationery and invitation design and wants to grow with our company. This position is best suited for a self-directed worker with great multi-tasking abilities, a knack for creative design and a keen eye for all of the little details. Must have a strong sense of design, great typography skills, understand current wedding trends and (most importantly) identify with and be able to design within the Smitten on Paper aesthetic. Must be friendly, extremely organized and an easy going team player. All applicants must be able to work full-time in our Monrovia, Ca studio. Tasks Include: Assisting the Lead Designer in day to day operations of proofing + designing wedding invitation orders and communicating with clients. This includes everything from sending orders to print, printing envelopes, helping with order production, talking to clients in person and over email, and assisting in our adorable retail shop. Qualifications: • At least 1 year of graphic design experience • Experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop • Understand and identify current and future trends in the wedding industry • Photography, styling, calligraphy or any other relevant skills a plus • Experience with MailChimp, Wordpress and/or Magento a plus To apply please fill in the questions below and upload your resume and portfolio.
